CDC reports at least 72 people are ill in 18 states from Jensen Farms melons

By Tuesday the 27th of September the CDC had reported 72 illnesses including 13 deaths related to listeriosis linked to melons grown by Jenson Farms in Colorado. There are three other possible victims who died from listeriosis but have yet to be connected to the Jensen Farms melons.

This is the deadliest listeria outbreak in the United States in the last ten years, with 16 potential victims of listeriosis.
