They also suggest that Depo-Provera Contraceptive Injection should be
used as a long-term birth control method -- longer than 2 years -- only
if other birth control methods are inadequate.
Depo Provera is still being marketed by Pfizer for women who are too
busy to deal with traditional birth control methods. Feel carefree today
but possibly crippled with loss of bone mineral density (BMD) tomorrow.
