Clozaril
Clozaril is used to treat nervous, mental, and emotional conditions,
such as preoccupation with troublesome and recurring thoughts, and unpleasant
and unusual experiences such as hearing and seeing things not normally
seen or heard. New research links Clozaril (Clozapine) with causing serious
side effects including: diabetes, hyperglycemia, and pancreatitis. The
findings, from researchers at Duke University and the Food and Drug Administration
appear as a letter in the Nov. 28 issue of the Journal of the American
Medical Association.
